We left the seaside of Ako for an 80 km rat run through suburbs heading towards Fukuyama.

We road in the morning sun by inland seaways and then found a difficult 2 km climb over a big 'Yama'. At least the downhill was fun.
Eventually found our way to Fukuyama and then it rained all night. The weather is much like Queensland, very lush vegetation with high humidity.
